Find the Circle… Quickly!
In this game, your task is to click on the patch that shows a circle. This is simple enough when only one color is involved, but when the circle is hidden amongst a red-green background it can be very difficult. Believe it or not, having trichromatic (full color) vision isn’t always advantageous. In situations where there is a LOT of color interference, it might be easier to find what you are looking for in dichromatic conditions – essentially filtering out some of the color “noise”.
Game Notes:
– This game was inspired by research by Saito et al. (2005)
– We used a color filter to create dichromatic conditions to appear exactly how they would for a person who is fully red-green colorblind.
